This was my first attempt at an HDR-like-ish photo... kinda. so ya I still have a lot to learn.

Wings Of Paradise With Jess

Today I went to Wings of Paradise with the lovely Jessica. She is afraid of butterflies, but she still decided she wanted to go with me :) I was trying out my new lens. Since I'm using a nikon lens on a canon camera, I can only use manual focus. This is a heavy lens and I have misplaced my tripod so a lot of the photos got blurry. These were the best I had.

My Crappy Monday

UGH... that pretty much sums up my Monday. I was super sick for about 20 hours, reason unknown. I've been told that it was likely the Norwalk virus. It sucked. I wont go into the gory details, but just know it's not pretty.

 

On the up side of things, I bought a new laptop a few days ago which means Photoshop will finally run. It was a pretty awesome snag for only 399.99$. 4 GB of DDR3 RAM, 3-core processor running at 2.? GHz.
